if she is not fat(chunky/chubby) n its an all over loss NOT just 1 location such as tummy or thighs or somethang???
If a 16 yr old female loses 37 to 40 pounds will she have loose access skin/flabby skin?
A 16-year-old's skin will have a lot of elasticity in it. If you're attempting to lose that much weight, you should incorporate some toning in with your cardio. The toning will tighten your skin as you're losing the fat.
You should try toning all areas of your body: All four limbs and your torso area. Look up some good toning/light weight lifting exercises on the Net. People can usually find things around the house you can use to tone. Like a large jar of mayo or pickles; you can use that as a weight, just don't drop it!

Reply:I think that only tends to happen with really big weight loss (100 lbs or more).
Reply:maybe, but maybe not.it all depends on the person and how they heal.
Reply:She shouldnt have the "flab" because she is supple enough, and her skin is soluable enough so that it will shrink into shape.
Young skin is pliable, and moist, and resilliant. Old skin tends to be dry and loses its flexibility with the moisture loss of age.
I wish you well..

Reply:If you lose it at a steady rate and not all at once, your skin should naturally shrink with your body.
Reply:The skin is very elastic. That should be the least of concern, as losing the poundage will yield health rewards that far exceed any little skin ripple here and there.
Reply:It should shrink with your body, but if your not fat or chubby why would you need to loose that much?
Reply:shouldn't if you exercise.
Reply:i dun think so....i lost around 18 kg when i was 19-20, so i dun have tat problem.....
if u r scare, can do exercise to tone it.........gd luck
Reply:A great thing about being so young is that her skin is still very elastic. Even IF she finds a loose flap or two, the muscle tone beneath the skin should eventually help it recover.
That much weight loss is significant, so, if she did in on purpose, she is owed hearty congratulations!
