My 13 year old son was overweight, he is loosing weight but its loose flabby skin?

My 13 year old son was 148 lbs and is now 137 but his skin on his arms, belly and around his core area and hips are baggy flabby skin that needs to be toned up like normal. what can I do to fix this?

My 13 year old son was overweight, he is loosing weight but its loose flabby skin?
After any weight loss, the body has to have time to recover. Over the next year, his body will adjust and the skin will tighten on it's own. There is nothing to "fix".
Reply:there is not much you can do. over time his body adjusts to the skin and it will tighten
Reply:Is he losing the weight through diet alone? Add strength training to his routine. He should be getting cardio already, but if he isn't, do that too.
Reply:The good thing is that he will get taller and stretch the skin.

You can't fix it but growing and exercise will.
Reply:Elena, honey, who is this more important to--you, or your son? You've posted question after question--are you looking for some right answer? Next time you ask, and I'm assuming you will, will you please tell us how tall he is? We can't tell how overweight he is just by his weight...

Like I said before, I don't believe in putting pudgy kids on diets until they are done growing. But I have no problem exercising them thoroughly. Join a gym. Start him working out. His weight won't go down, but his shape will look a whole lot better.

stretch marks never go away. you can lighten them though using coco butter lotion for stretch marks. and for the loose skin he needs to do regular workouts.
Reply:the flabbiness will never go away unless with surgery, but they have creams for the stretch marks.

answer this please:

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...
Reply:you should probably take him to the doctor
Reply:work out,
Reply:He needs to exercise and do weights, as well as diet, to keep the skin tight as well as loose the fat. That will reduce the flabby skin. For stretch marks, there are certain creams that help but you can go to the dermatologist and they can do laser surgery to remove the marks. Hope this helps.
Reply:Go see a dermatologist about the stretch marks. The Dr. might be able to prescribe something to help them fade better. My husband has some stretch marks on his hips, but it is because he grew tall so fast. I think a lot of guys get them on there hip area. The flabby skin should shrink up within a year or two and he is only 13 so his skin should heal much faster than someone who is a little older. Just make sure he is at a healthy weight and fix the other problems later. Be supportive.
Reply:At 13 years old, the skin will naturally tighten up. Your son still has at least 5 years of growth left, so chill.
Reply:He nees to lose the weight slowly and then his skin will gradually shrink with his weight loss, and exercise along with his weight loss to stop the baggy skin
Reply:Just help him be confidant thru this akward time in life. His skin should still have a lot of elasticity, and he will be growing taller as well, and that skin will stretch with him as he grows.
Reply:He is, IMHO, young enough to be able to catch it up. If you feel you need reassurance, or if it isn't clearing up by itself, go to a reputable dermatologist - do not listen to the unqualified, as many a health problem could have been avoided if people would stop believing what they say in the magazines, etc, and consult a doctor!
Reply:Surgery is really all that could truly fix it. You could have him step his his moisturizing and it will reduce it somewhat.

Also, if he's still growing the change in size might take care of the loose skin.
Reply:stetch marks will fade as time goes on and dumbells are a good option for loose skin / weight around your arms.... he should exercise as he looses weight to prevent extra skin.
Reply:When I lost weight postpartum, I had a lot of baggy skin. This product called tummy firmer helped reduce the sag, when I put a scale underneath it used to hang 6 inches down, now its like 1-2 inches- about 3 weeks into using it.

We go there for a different health product and this one was new- uses orchid extract and at www.katuri.com

hmm, lightened stretch marks to a little extent-
Reply:Your son is about to hit his major growing period. I would do nothing at all about these problems until he's done growing. I have a feeling he will grow into his skin. He can start working his biceps, too, and that will help fill out his arms with hard flesh instead of flabby skin.

Have him eat heathily, as much as he wants, just avoid empty calories. He doesn't need to diet just now, because his body needs his calories to grow properly.

If, at 19 or so, he still has hanging skin, contact a hospital with a burn unit. They always need donor skin to help their patients cover burned areas.

Reply:iam pleased your son has managed to lose some weight please praise him for the weight loss I see someone suggests weightlifting please dont let him start weightlifting yet he is too young My son weightlifts and was delayed until he was 16 when his body can take the strain Brisk fast walking while dieting will help and any sport Do not contemplate lazer or surgery If his weight is goin down gradually the marks will get less Swimming is a smashing exercise for all the body He is only young so encurage and praise himwhether he looses weight or not and give him an occational treat something he likes /remember while he is young his skin will stretch and tighten but when he gets old it just sits there good luck young man

What is the best way to loose tummy skin from weight loss and child birth?

IF YOU HAVE LOST 40 LBS. AND HAVE GIVEN BIRTH WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO LOSE TUMMY SKIN?

What is the best way to loose tummy skin from weight loss and child birth?
If the skin has lost its elasticity, there is really no way for you to get it back on your own. One option is cosmetic surgery.
Reply:Get Tummy tuck Surgery in India.Cosmetic Surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges cosmetic surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare.I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.I have also read that they arrange financing for american and canadian patients as cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance.

They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor i personally believe that your cosmetic surgery can be easily handled in India as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.If you still havent got your surgery done, you are better off getting it done in India.

My cousin got her tummy tuck surgery for loose skin post her delivery in India through the forerunners healthcare .SHe is more than very happy with the results. She just paid 25% of the amount she was quoted in USA and is all praise for this forerunners healthcare company.hope this helps

Can i get rid of loose saggging skin?

my dog is currently on a diet go for a hr walk evry morning is that sagging skin going to go away if i continue

Can i get rid of loose saggging skin?
It depends on what kind of dog you have like blood hounds they wont loose their sagging skin.

What kind of dog??
Reply:Dogs have extra skin to begin with at a healthy weight. It allowed them to fight or be injured in the wild and have the skin damaged, not their internal organs.
Reply:youngish dogs have loose skin- its left over from their grwoing stages. I personaly think it is cute, but it should go sway, especially with a diet!

How do I firm up loose/flabby skin on my arms?

I wanna get my arms looking tight and firm but right now they have that flabby skin when I shake them.

How do I firm up loose/flabby skin on my arms?
It is a fact that you can't "spot reduce" fat. You can implement cardiovascular exercise into your routine to burn overall body fat. In addition, you can maximize your results by including weight resistance exercise for your arms. These could include bicep curls and tricep extensions with low weight and high reps. This will help build lean muscle and burn more arm fat. Hope this helps.
Reply:Try some push-ups.
Reply:hold a can of soup in each hand like the y in the ymca dance , and move your arms rapidly up and down 40 times each night. takes a long time but it works. after awhile you might want to try something heavier
Reply:use hand weights or a couple of tins of beans(or any tins!) hold your arms out in front of you and just bring them back and forwards towards your chest. It should help to firm your muscles.
Reply:You could also use 5 pound weights (dumb bells) to help firm up your arms too! There are plenty of arm exercise routines on the internet,or you could rent an exercise video that focuses on your upper body, and uses weights too! I hope this helps and I have been working on my upper arms too recently,so I can get ready for wearing tank tops in the summer!! ;-)

If loose between 10 or 15 and 37 pounds will u have loose hanging skin?

or is that when you loose much much more weight? thank you for your help and advice i appreciate it

If loose between 10 or 15 and 37 pounds will u have loose hanging skin?
OH hunny NO. First off your younger I assume...But thats for the morbidly obese and the elderly (55 on usually) Your going to be fine, lose the weight you want and hit the beach in your flat tummy!!!!!!!!
Reply:You won't have loose or hanging skin if you lose that amount of weight, especially if you lose it the healthy way (that is, by eating healthier and exercising more -- not by crash dieting). The loose skin problem is something that affects people who lose a huge amount of their body weight, not just 10-35 pounds.
Reply:no.

The most I had lost is 50. No hanging skin.
Reply:MUCH more weight then that. You might be a little loser in your arms, but that's about it.
Reply:Unfortunately yes!!
Reply:There are 2 factors: the speed with which you lose it, and your age. Both have to do with the elasticity of your skin.

If you lose weight slowly (a program that gives you about 1 to 2 pounds weight loss a week), you are less likely to have the flabby skin syndrome.

Also, once you reach your mid 30's, your skin's gets less elastic, and holds it's current size, meaning the later in life you wait to lose significant weight, the more likely you will deal with flabby skin.
Reply:depends on how fast and how old you are
Reply:It depends on how much you weigh and your particular body type. If you go on a diet that has high protein and low fat and also jog and lift moderate weights you will keep your muscle and lose your fat, so you won't have hanging skin.
Reply:if you loose that amount (10 or so) try to do some weight training while you loose weight, that way muscles will develop and you body will be toned, but if you are obese that's another question
Reply:only if you lose it too fast.
Reply:It really depends on how fast you loose it and what kind of exercises you do, but for that much weightloss...I don't think you would have much if any hanging skin. Again it depends on your skin. For hanging skin...I have done the coco butter and lotions ect and they work over a long period of time. Eat lots of vitamin E too. Generally the active aerobics and cardio that makes you move your body alot..kinda shaking the skin...also helps your body tighten the skin. I hope that helps
Reply:No, especially if you exercise. People that have gastric bypasses usually end up with all that loose skin then they have tummy tucks and other plastic surgery to have it removed.
Reply:Yes, if you lose large quanties of weight, especially if you do

so quickly, you'll have loose skin (and perhaps other issues).

Skin is elastic only to a point, and if you have grown up large,

then you have a large amount of skin. It isn't going to just

disappear. Exercize helps, but only to a point.

Depending on your height, etc, however, 37 pounds isn't

all that much weight. People with massive skin flaps etc.

tend to have lost 50 or even a hundred pounds.

There are surgeries for this and doctors vastly prefer to remove

or staple a little skin here and there after someone has naturally

lost the weight than removing fat and just having it come back

again because the metabolism problem hasn't been solved.

In any case, the thing you are trying to accomplish here is

to change the metabolism permanently and healthfully.

Losing the weight purely for aesthetic reasons is usually

both self destructive and temporary - whereas losing for

health reasons has a better chance of "sticking".

Repeated loss and gain of weight is very bad for your heart.

Good luck!
Reply:You don't mention how old you are....but excersice should help tighten and tone when you diet, this becomes more challanging the older you get.
Reply:i have lost nearly 100 pounds in about 18 months (used to be 210) and i really dont have any hanging skin. the only place that is loose is in my lower belly and thats because when i weighed that 210 i was pregnant with twins. i guess it depends on the type of skin you have, your genes, and your age.
Reply:Homeopathic Treatment for Excessive Fat and Weight :-

PHYTOLACCA BERRY's Mother Tincture is perhaps the safest and sure fire way of loosing excessive fat around abdomen. With Phytolacca Berry once you loose the excessive fat and weight you don't get it back because you body takes care of itself after that and keeps you from gathering up excessive fat. It is prescribed after having a baby too, to get the tummy to loose its flab and to make it flatter and tighter. And after loosing weight with this you don't get flabby it tightens up the flab and skin along with helping your body to shed the excessive accumulation of fat around the girth

The dosage is 15 to 20 drops of the tincture in half a cup of hot water thrice a day half hour before or after meals.

Avoid Chocolates, Coffee, Mints, Red Meat and Carbonated and Alcoholic drinks while taking Homeopathic Medicines. You have to take it for at least 30 to 45 days after that you start to feel the results.

To the best of my knowledge its the safest and the most sure fire way of loosing fat and weight and keeping it of for keeps. Excellent remedy for Obese people who cant seem to shed weight despite trying.

Homeopathic Remedies can be found at all Major Herbal Stores or could be bought on line, In most of the world Homeopathic remedies are quite cheap and easy to find and they do not need a prescription.

Take care and God Bless !

CAn I loose extra skin if I exercise?

After I had my daughter I was left with Extra skin and stretch marks and I've become very self conscious about how I look. Please someone I need advice !!!!!!!!!! p.s. I want to lose the weight fast.

CAn I loose extra skin if I exercise?
yes you can loose the extra skin if u do alot of exercise for the stomach you can you can do pull ups . that will help you so the extra skin you have will go away.
Reply:Your skin only loosens as you get older.
Reply:Not of you tie it down securely.
Reply:Carbohydrates and excessive intake of certain fatty materials can cause weight gain. Low fat, high fiber and protein(like broiled chicken, whey-fit protein shake mixes) will help you loose the extra weight your still carrying around(no pun intended). The stretch marks CAN be helped with some judicious amounts of vitamin-E intake as well as some topically applied. Unfortunately, there is no real guaranty all the stretch marks will fade like most of them will.
Reply:Sorry, you can tone up your muscles which may give the appearance of tighter skin, but usually once the skin is stretched that far, it does not completely return to it's original appearance.

Haven't you ever seen on TV people who lost large amounts of weight who have had to have excess skin removed. same thing...smaller scale.

Don't worry, do some toning exercises, drink lots of water, watch what you eat, and you'll look and feel better, after all... how many people see you totally naked anyway? Unless you are stripping! lol

good luck, and stay away from all the sweets this Christmas

Been There.
Reply:nope, only way to to get surgury to remove it
Reply:yes you can lose extra skin if u exercise you can also use viatmin e to remove the strech marks
Reply:No, you won't lose skin, only the fat underneath the skin. That is why everybody who loses weight with a gastric bypass gets an abdominoplasty after they lose the weight.

An abdominoplasty ("tummy tuck") is the only thing that will fix the extra skin problem. It is a fairly big procedure (3-5 hours of surgical time and a month off work to recover) and it's not cheap.

An abdominoplasty will get rid of skin, but is not for weight loss, as only about 3-7 pounds come off. It makes a dramatic difference in your appearance, though.

Here's more info on the procedure:

http://www.plasticsurgery.org/patients_c...

Sorry for the disappointing news. I've lost some weight and would LOVE a "tummy tuck" but can't afford the time off work, and am not keen on 3 feet of scars.
Reply:No, you cannot. When you exercise, you lose fat and strengthen muscles, but it does not affect skin. Unfortunately. (Wish I could get my skin back on my tummy after my pregnancy and c-section!) If it improves, it will be much to the quality of your skin, not to your exercising routine. As to stretchmarks - they are hereditary and for life. No creams or vitamin E work. Sorry!

The good news is that although your tummy will never look as it used to, the folds on the skin will get a little smaller, and the stretchmarks will most likely fade and eventually become white, so they won't be that obvious.

What will happen to my skin after i loose weight?

I weight 280lbs im 18 and 6'2

for the past 2 weeks ive been doing 1 hr daily exercise a day, with 10 min of yoga and some 15 pound dumbels.

I was wondering that some1 said that my skin will be hanging or something if i loose weight?

and i would like to know how long it will take for my man-breasts to go away and what will happen to them if i loose weight

thx

What will happen to my skin after i loose weight?
It depends how much you lose, and how fast you lose it. Generally, skin at your age is fairly elastic and will go back into shape as you lose weight - especially if you do so gradually at 2-3 pounds a week. However, if you are morbidly obese, or you lose weight very quickly, the skin may not be able to 'snap back' into shape - in which case, a surgical reduction might be required.

I would think you'd be fine if you just lose the weight gradually.
Reply:It will sag and look hideous. Good luck with that there man-t i t s.
Reply:There are a lot of factors. Somebody cannot just say they will go away at a set weight, all of a sudden.

It depends on your percentage and distribution of body fat.

As for the skin... As long as you are not loosing the weight too quickly, which can be dangerous, it should be fine. Just remember, you want to lose fat (cardio exercise) and gain muscle (weight training) at the same time to tone your body. I'm not sure what you're doing with 15 lb dumbbells, but you want to work out the rest of your body as well.

Good luck.

It all depends on how quickly/slowly you lose it. The quicker you lose it, the bigger the chances of haveing the hanging skin. Same with gaining weight.....the quicker you gain, the more of a chance for stretch marks.
Reply:Yes it is a possibility that your skin will hang but you can go to a surgeon and they could cut off that extra fatigue.
Reply:If you lose the weight through cardio only, you'll have excess skin that hasn't been pulled taut. Adding some weight lifting and yoga are good ways to build muscle and help your skin form to it's new mold. Try push ups and flies with the free weights to tone your arms, chest and back (since this is probably where most of your weight is). Losing weight SLOWLY will also help you to avoid "baggy" skin. Set a goal for 1-2 pounds a week. Best of luck!
Reply:Your not so obese that your skin will hang, plus your young enough and have a lot of elasticy in your skin, concentrate on loosing the weight and everything else will fall into place
Reply:It depends on your skins elasticity. I had 2 kids and went back to my normal weight after with no flabby skin but mine has very good elasticity.

Keep up the good work!!
Reply:First off, keep up the good work!

It's hard to say how much loose skin you will have; is the 280lbs mainly fat (and you had a really large circumference), or is it half muscle (and you aren't too large?) The larger you are, the more skin you'll have obviously, but but the good news is that you are quite young (18?) so your skin should have very good elasticity and respond well to stretch- so losing weight now may be the best time. The older you get, the less likely your skin will snap back nicely...

And also, lucky you're a dude, cause you'll likely replace some fat with muscle, which also takes up some space and therefore uses some of that skin...

If you keep running/swimming, and lose fat at a healthy speed (2lbs/week) it'll be best for your entire body. In general, fat is burnt evenly throughout the body, so progress isn't always obvious- your man-boobs will shrink at the same rate as your belly fat.

Plastic surgeons can help remove excess skin if it is causing health issues (like infections or low back) then your health insurance may cover the cost of the surgery. I think the requirements are: lost %26gt;100lbs, weight stable, and causing health issue? But the tummy tucks I have helped with were usually for gastric bypass patients who were very very large, and lost 100-200 lbs in about a year. Likely surgery is not necessary for you, but I just wanted to mention it, so you know there are many options- don't worry! Just keep up the weight loss and worry about skin later.

Do teens who loose weight danger of having excess skin?

i am a teen and i have been chunky since i was 10 i want to know if i loose say 50lbs will i have excess skin if i loose weight

Do teens who loose weight danger of having excess skin?
You are a lot less likely to have excess skin than an adult who has been overweight for decades. Exercise to keep skin moving and speed up circulation.
Reply:No. Do it before you stop growing and you will have no problem.Incorperate a little exercise too, and you will keep a good figure for the rest of you life.I lost alot of weight at your age, now 36 and I had no flabby skin and never regained the weight.

I would also recommed you rub on a good vitamin e cream while loosing the weight, to prevent stretch marks apperaing.this does work.Good Luck.Do it now before it's too late.
Reply:The younger you are, the more elastic your skin is. So, if you loose weight, then the skin will just "shrink" to your new body size.
Reply:Being so young will work in your favor. Younger peoples' skin has a lot of elasticity so with exercise and proper diet it will pull back into place.

Older people who have less elasticity and lose a lot of weight will have to deal with the extra skin. If they were greatly overweight, many people have surgery to remove the extra skin.

Good luck on losing some pounds. You will gain so much that you'll wonder why you didn't do it before. You'll have a new confidence and more fun with your wardrobe - and you'll feel healthier too. Don't get discouraged if it takes longer than you expect.

Loose Stomach Skin?

My stomach has alot of excess skin. I havent lost much weight, but I have gained alot of muscle and now have a clearly visible 6 pack. When I stretch my skin taught i have a fairly sculpted 8 pack. What can I do to shed this excess of skin, or tighten it. I am 5'6 and 15 but I may not grow much more seeing as im taller than both my parents.

Loose Stomach Skin?
You can't just get rid of excess skin. You will either have to get it surgically removed, or get even more muscle to fill in the space you have with your excess skin.

Can all skin tones use loose powder?

because my friend has darkish olive skin and uses light coloured loose powder would it be ok for me to use it but i have darker skin?

Can all skin tones use loose powder?
Any skin tone can use loose powder, just make sure you get a shade that matches your skin tone.
Reply:All skin types or skin color can use loose powder, it gives a nature look, nicer than compac.
Reply:there are tons of different colors of loose powder so if you have a darker skin color get a darker loose powder!
Reply:You can use loose powder as long as you find one that matches your skin color, which you mostly likely will. Or you could use a translucent one..
Reply:i wouldnt advise it!! You really shouldnt use somebody else's makeup if i was you i would try to find some makeup that matches your skin tone!! But i guess you could try it!!
Reply:That is probably translucent loose setting powder, whcih all skin tones can use to keep away shine and set the rest of their makeup. If it is a loose powder foundation, it should match your skin tone.
Reply:yes it would but jus look at the loose powder color and see which one goes along with your skin

My skin is wrinkled and loose?

My skin is looking so dull. I can see wrinkles on my face and there is no glow. The skin is so loose. How do i tighten my face skin. Is there any thing that i should be using to make me look beautiful

My skin is wrinkled and loose?
Yes! YES! there is and it's better than any OTC product or anything else and has been voted Best Answer - got to my profile to see several B.A. for "wrinkle cure" "anti aging" etc

It's A non harming, NATURAL, LOW COST treatment I discovered by chance that does tightens skin, gives face a healthy glow, remarkably diminishes wrinkles and makes you look considerably younger. Discovered when seeking cures for many facial skin disorders, including acne, scars, pores, spots, moles, oily skin, dry skin.etc. Treatment permanently rid all of them and gave me a flawless, blemish free, healthy skin AND reversed skin aging, removed age spots, and discolorations. Use an organic or pure natural oil -olive or coconut are good - regularly massage (everyday is best) with a quite strong, vigorous motion. It's the key to it working. Do at night as it makes face flushed. Skin clinics might tell you to only massage gently - they are wrong - in over 20 years of use it's proved to be only beneficial. Stimulation hastens shedding of old skin and forces a clear, tighter one to emerge with less blemishes and wrinkles noticeably reduced - stick with it and see results in about 1 week, and remarkably better ones over a period of weeks. Initially, skin has to adjust %26amp; if soreness, or reactions happen - stop %26amp; resume when you can. Find the pace that works for you - it's different for every person. Keep up a massage routine(not as vigorous) after that %26amp; will continue improving.

Try it, you will be happy that you did. If apply to entire face and neck you will not need to use any other product of any kind ever again. Skin will have a naturally healthy glow and tone and will naturally moisturise. Only unhealthy skins need all those OTC treatments. Also made me look considerably younger - I am often thought to be 15 years younger than I actually am. Diet matters also. I found that having a primarily wholefood vegetarian diet with a lot of raw vegetables and fruits, nuts, essential grains and natural oils, avoiding sodas, excessive salt (I. E. restaurant meals) %26amp; unhealthy heavily processed foods helped my skin tremendously. But also much walking and exercising and being good to myself were even better treatments.

Why The Skin of Chicken raised industrially is very loose & soft, not like Chicken raised at home in China?

I am living in Australia now.

The Chicken I bought in supermarket in Australia taste awful. Because the chicken are raised industrially in mass production, their skins very loose, soft. I feel nothing.

Chicken raised at home in China are much more delicious, their skins are tight %26amp; good for grill.

Why The Skin of Chicken raised industrially is very loose %26amp; soft, not like Chicken raised at home in China?
I think because industrially, chickens are raised in cages, making it hard to move around. Therefore, they have very little muscle, so the skin sags. Also, industrial chicken is often injected with tenderizers and water, so that makes the skin loose. Try organic chicken, you'll probably like it better.
Reply:,because of the diet mean what the chicken eat-ed, in the US also the chicken meat are soft and losse,
Reply:Because our chickens are plucked by machines instead of humans and the skin is damaged in the process

tone ur body up by running more thats all
Reply:Your still very young and you have 2 wonderful things going for you.

1. Your skin is still soft, pliable and resilient, so it will be able to slowly go back to where it need to be.

2. Your still growing so some of that skin is going to be used by as you grow.

I would not be concerned about it. If you were 45 then I'd say sorry, your stuck with it, but at 15 it will be just fine.

Congrats on your 50 pound loss---that's terrific and you should be very proud. If you get a chance watch Shaq's Kids on TV. He has a kids going through a weight loss regiment and it may interest you.

Loose Powder is not crusty, it helps manage shine.

dust a small puff of it on your face for a smooth, even complextion, don't go overboard though or you willl look dry
Reply:Treatable in many different forms, DRY SKIN problems respond well to self-care measures, such as using moisturizers and avoiding long, hot showers and baths. If you have very dry and scaly skin, your doctor may recommend you use an all-natural cream that contains natural oils that gives soothing and glowing results.

In a more serious skin disease, such as ichthyosis or psoriasis, your doctor may prescribe prescription creams and ointments or other treatments in addition to home care.

Dry skin leads to dermatitis, which causes red, itchy skin. In these cases, treatment may include lotions with natural-oil ingredients. If your skin cracks open, your doctor may prescribe wet dressings with mildly astringent properties to contract your skin and reduce secretions and prevent infection.

I believe http://www.skinsosilky.com/ will help you best for more advices, ideas and best treatments for any skin problem like dry skin.
Reply:Loose Powder!
Reply:Try the Bare Minerals-Bare Essentuals foundation. They are light and make your complexion look fantastic plus it will stay on all day without looking "blochy, streaky or cakey"!

My advise is to NOT get one from the drug store! They look cheap and will make your skin look drier than it is! Plus I think most of them have too much "sparkles" in them!

Bare Minerals look "Natural" on your face and if you " Buff "

it in all over, including your neck and chest area, no one will even know you have makeup on because it looks just like your own skin...but alot better!!!

Use a light moisturizer all over your face including your neck and chest area.Find one that's good for dry skin.

I've been using Oil of OLay Total Effects Intensive RestorationTreatment. It works great and absorbs quickly and leaves your face feeling nice and soft!

After applying your moisturizer, Buff on your minerals foundation. The best brush to use is a KUBUKI brush. It's a big, round, soft brush that's works wonderful with the minerals.

In my opinion, go to Ebay and find some of the different products Oil of Olay makes. The prices are alot better there and you will have a large assortment to pick from ( It saves alot of time AND money instead of going to the department stores!) And you should also look at the Bare MInerals- Bare Essentuals items there in Ebay too.

Find a foundation close to your skin color. ( sometimes getting two different shades will be better because you can mix them together to find your perfect shade!)

I also recommend getting "Warmth" in the Bare Minerals collection. That's exactly what it is...iit adds warmth to your complexion! It will make your skin look warm and radiant!

I hope this helps you...good luck!!!
Reply:I'd say avoid it if you can altogether, powder absorbs moisture out of your skin. I have dry skin, and would recommend using a tinted moisturiser, max factor do a good compact but go easy on it!! x
Reply:how the powder is created has nothing to do with your skin type.. it's a matter of how you want to apply and if you need it to be portable.

pressed powder gives more coverage when applied with a sponge, and is easy to take with you. loose powder gives softer coverage when applied with a brush and is too messy to carry around.

try mark powder buff natural skin foundation $8 or merle norman ultra powder foundation $24 for nice coverage without foundation.

3) is 40-50 pounds possible without the extra and flabby skin??

If a 16 yr old female loses 37 or 40 pounds will she have loose flabby extra skin if she is not?
Losing weight by a 16 yr old is not likely to leave you with loose flabby skin! I am a lot older than you and I have lost over 60 lbs and I do not have loose flabby skin! Now if you were up over 400 lbs maybe so. Lose your weight and be happy! I'm 62
Reply:im pretty sure because of your age the skin would tighten up. thats the beauty of getting slim at a young age, your skin is still maleable.
Reply:Well i think anytime u loose a great amount of weight u will have loose skin..but maybe if u are naturally very muscular (thick) then maybe ur chances of having loose skin may not be that bad..u may have some but not too much..

Im so sad .. i wanna lose 50 pounds (im 23) do i still have a chance to do it with out getting loose skin?

but sure, just do it slow, take your time, exercise, and use body butter (rich creams for body). Skin can stretch and shrink, so it's fine.

Im so sad .. i wanna lose 50 pounds (im 23) do i still have a chance to do it with out getting loose skin?
Work out and lose it slowly.
Reply:at 23 you definitely won't have loose skin after losing only 50lbs, my friend was 20-22 and lost 140, and she didn't have loose skin, just do it the healthy way, losing only a few pounds a week and you'll be fine! (a tip though, using weights, even just free weights helps, it'll keep you toned).
Reply:You're young, so your skin is still elastic. Just make sure you exercise and loose it slowly (not more than 8 pounds/month)
Reply:yes i know my gf is useing this pill.after useing this u lookins so sexy like my gf she is takeing this pill and now she looking so sexy... before the takeing this pill she looking bore and dump just becoz of her body . than she buy a pill form this site http://www.weightlossdietpillz.com/ and she loss her wieght

I have been on a weight lose programme since Jan. how can i tone my bust and tummy so that the loose skin?
Working your pecs may help with the bust (weight room stuff). Want to know something funny? Laying on your stomach will tighten your stomach muscles. Not sleeping on your stomach, just laying there to do something like read, write, or study. It's a little hard on your arms, but you get used to it.

I'm 31, W/ 2 girls 9%26amp;12 I weigh 127 lbs. How do I get rid of stretchmarks and the loose skin caused by them?
Read some useful tips and articles on how to get rid of stretch marks and more on this site to help you with it
Reply:For the stretch marks use cocoa butter lotion, and for loose skin, do some exercising that will tighten the elasticity of your skin
Reply:Unfortunately there isn't much you can do other than surgery.
Reply:the strechmarks wont go away but you can use cocoa butter to help them fade. as for the skin...work out ur abs or surgery
Reply:Exercise, and swimming will help tone your skin. Take your turn in a sauna and steamroom. Keep your skin hydrated (lotion is good), drink plenty of water and see if you can put some natural sources of vitamins A, C and E in your diet.
Reply:Exercising will always help with toning, really ur suppose to exercise to tone up WHILE losing weight so you are not left with extra flabby skin. Try exercising fisrt, use Palmer's cocoa butter lotion, and after 3 months, if there's still alot of extra flabby skin, u might wanna consider surgery.

Homeopathic Treatment for Loosing Fat and Excessive Weight :-

Reply:First eat a healthy diet. This will help your baby cos if your breast feeding they will get all those fantastic nutrients, and it will do something for your tummy.

Then either join a gym that will give you an exercise plan to target your tummy, or research on the internet and get yourslef a book on getting a flat tummy, and they will give you exercises to do such as the plank and twisty bycicles
Reply:A FEW THINGS TO REMEMBER:

The correct way to burn fat and stay healthy is to burn more calories than you consume

You need to make sure you are eating healthy foods while still excercising

If you have a big appetite drink plenty of water so that you will feel full but not consume calories

But you should always eat

If you start to skip meals you will only be more hungry at your next meal and probably eat way too much

Remember, the average persons stomach is as big as a slice of pizza scrunched up into a ball

So you shouldnt be putting more food into your stomach than what fits

Also, it takes aproximately 15-20 minutes for your brain to realize that you are full

so eat slower and you will realize sooner when you are not hungry anymore

Reply:Please read the recommendations below. Also, go to the book store and locate the book "Weight Training for Dummies". In chapter 15 you will find excellent information on how to perform abdominal exercises correctly. Page 218 of the book dispels all the myths surrounding abdominal training.

The following healthy living recommendations will help you if you’re trying to lose weight, tone up your muscles, have aspirations of building lean muscle mass, are attempting to get a wash board stomach, or just want to feel better:

*1) Burn more calories then you're consuming everyday and measure your results using the following formula: Calories Consumed minus Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) minus Physical Activity minus the Thermic Effect of Food (TEF). A website that explains this formula in more detail and will help you determine how many calories you need to reach or maintain a certain weight is at http://www.primusweb.com/fitnesspartner/...

Get a diet and fitness calculator that you can put on your computer or cell phone. This will allow you to easily calculate the above formula, set goals, log your daily calorie consumption, and register your physical activities.

Set realistic goals for your ideal body weight. Here are two websites that will calculate a suggested body weight:

Adults: http://www.halls.md/ideal-weight/body.ht...

Teens/Children: http://www.kidshealth.org/kid/exercise/w...

It is difficult and unhealthy to lose more than one or two pounds per week. There are 3,500 calories in a pound. If you eat 500 fewer calories per day for a week you will lose one pound. If you burn through exercise 500 more calories per day for a week you will lose one pound.

*2) Eat natural and organic foods found on earth versus something created by a corporation to make money. Eat meals in small portions throughout the day and take a good multi-vitamin supplement.

Avoid “High Glycemic Load Carbs” (sugar, pastries, desserts, refined starches such as breads, pasta, refined grains like white rice; high starch vegetables such as potatoes) and drink lots of water. Read this article for more information on high GL Carbs:

http://www.hsph.harvard.edu/nutritionsou...

Do not try fad diets or diet pills. Here is an excellent food pyramid that anyone can follow: http://www.rayandterry.com/html/images/P...

*3) Exercise on most days by doing cardiovascular training and/or resistance training activities.

Read a book or find a certified trainer to make sure your doing all resistance training exercises correctly. A great book to buy that teaches you the resistance training basics is “Weight Training for Dummies”. A superb magazine to buy with resistance training routines that will not get you bored is "Muscle and Fitness". Signup for the free newsletter. An excellent free online resource is at http://www.exrx.net/

A good book to buy that teaches you the cardiovascular training basics is “Fitness for Dummies”.

*4) Get plenty of sleep. Sleep experts say most adults need between seven and nine hours of sleep each night for optimum performance, health, and safety.

*5) Educate yourself continually on health issues and make a life long commitment to good health. A great free publication is “Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2005”. A superb book to read is “You The Owner’s Manual”. An excellent periodic publication is the “Nutrition Action Health Letter”. I have this wierd growth on my vagina. It doesn't hurt but its just a lot of loose skin. What could it be?

Its mainly connected to my clit. I have had only one partner (my current boyfriend) and he has only been with me.

I have this wierd growth on my vagina. It doesn't hurt but its just a lot of loose skin. What could it be?
It could be a skin tag, which is easily removed by your dr. It could also be a sign of HPV (Human Papiloma Virus), in this case it should be removed. It doesn't matter that you have only had 1 partner, he could have had more than 1 partner and passed it to you. In any event, you need to see a Dr. for diagnosis. SOON.
Reply:best solution consult your OB GYNE as soon a possible. . .
Reply:no it's no weird, and if you want it removed they will rap a ruber band. It will die off and fall of, you can do it at home
Reply:Definately go visit your doctor, any physical symptom should be looked at, it may be nothing, and even if it is they can help you treat it or do something about it. It could really be related to anything, could be due to an std, might just be a general skin condition. Don't stress too much, might just be a normal skin irritation, either way your doctor will be able to help you!

I weigh 17 stone but if i lose a stone a month will i be stuck with loose skin?

"Loose skin" is a myth. When you lose weight, you lose not only fat but muscle. Consequently, fat fills where that muscle was and should be and gives the illusion you have "loose skin." But there's hope. Exercise with weight loss can help you retain your muscle. And, if you find yourself with "loose skin" try to put on muscle and lose even more weight.

Is it possible to lose 7 stone quite quickly without having to have a tummy tuck for loose skin?

I need to lose 7 stone to be at my ideal weight and cant seem to shift it. i would like to know how it can be done and if it can be done quickly? Also would i need a tummy tuck after i lost it?

Is it possible to lose 7 stone quite quickly without having to have a tummy tuck for loose skin?
I wouldn't advise trying to lose that much weight very quickly. You need a planned diet and exercise routine. Portion size is another thing to consider. Try joining a weight loss scheme...read up on "good" and "bad" foods..Being educated about the foods you eat, eating routines and food fat content etc is always a good start. Replacing full fat dairy products such as cheese and milk for half etc does help too.
Reply:hi i woz 12 stone and i lost 3 of that by going ice skating it realy works people go on about diets but that is a waste of time yes u must eat the right food but dont stuff your self u can eat anything so long as u burn it off go skatin and do more walkin u will c 4 ur self.gud luk Report It

Reply:Agree 100% with venom - exercise is the best way of all. Only thing is if you are very overweight, you must start gently and work up your stamina without putting undue strain on your body. Drink lots of water and soon you will find that the more you do, the more you want to do! Report It

Reply:probably a tummy tuck 7 stone is a lot.
Reply:no sorry mate i dont think so.
Reply:You should never lose any weight quickly, especially such a large amount. Aim for one kilo a week.
Reply:Multi vitamins, plenty of fluids and limit your fat intake to 20 grams of fat a day. That's what I do and I'm a healthy 5'10" 125lb woman.
Reply:i doubt it, you are better off losing the weight gradually, but the main factor is exercises. if you do abdominal exercises for 20 Min's 2 or 3 times a day you will definitely see a bigger difference than diet alone. of course a lot has to do with your age, wether you have had children or any abdominal operations as i have found that you have to work that bit harder if you have any of these things going against you - i have !! good luck

What is the best way to lose a lot of weight without ending up with loads of loose skin?

Drink lots of water. Exercise. Eat lots of protein. Massage your skin with lotion every night to keep it supple.

What is the best way to lose a lot of weight without ending up with loads of loose skin?
Exercise, lift weights tone/tighten your body up.
Reply:The only suggestion I can think of is to lose the weight slowly. This would give you skin time to adapt to your new size. Just my opinion because I am not a doctor. You may want to consult a doctor about a healthy amount of weight to lose over a given time period. I find that most people lose too much too quickly and then just put it back on.

If you get stretchmarks on your stomach during pregnancy does that automatically mean you will have loose skin
I have stretch marks and when I wasn't pregnant my stomach was flat and toned. No loose skin.
Reply:yer i suppose, and it also depends how wide the stretch marks are
Reply:Yes and the stretch marks will fade although they will always be there. My stomach was flat after 2 kids and my 2nd was almost a 10 pound baby.
Reply:um well it is known to be better off exercises a couple weeks after having your baby/ while your p[regnate what i would is use coco butter to get rid of the stretch marks/ i had hella bad ones on my boobs and i use that stuff and it cleared up. and do it before and after your pregancy on your stomach it will come out strechmark free. Oh and before you get to pregnate where you need bed rest find a good gym and ask a profeshional assistent to help you with your work out and how to get your stomach back to being toned and them some if you want. it would be very healthy and suggested if you do that. but before starting to do any of that i would consult your doctor to make sure he can give you the green light. i hope that helps.
Reply:Stretch marks do not mean you will have loose skin. You can have loose skin and no stretch marks and stretch marks and no loose skin. You can also have both!
Reply:Stretchmarks are hereditary no matter what you try to do to make it disappear or toned your belly. I got them after having 2 children and yes my mom had them and it was not pretty site until I took care of myself by exercising regularly. My sister has them the difference between her and me she is of darker tone than i. Guess what? my daughter is getting them too..and she is trying everything and anything to make it disappear.
Reply:no, stretchmarks are because you have put on weight because in pregnancy your body has to strech, i have then and no loose skin and i have a nice toned tummy

Reply:As long as you lose the weight at a healthy and reasonable rate, your skin will most likely not be saggy. You're still pretty young so I imagine your skin is more flexible than someone who is older, as in it will shape to you better. As long as you don't have a huge gut, your stomach will be fine too.
Reply:depends on how fast you lost it. at 14 the skin is still very elastic, and if you lost the fat slowly, then your skin would go into proper place just fine.

My cat is almost a year old.. he is thin everywhere but his belly.feels like loose skin..how can we get rid of
Are you talking about the pooch between his rib cage and back legs? Is your cat fixed? I've noticed that all of my cats who have been fixed get the belly pooch. If you cat is the proper weight, I wouldn't worry about it too much as long as it doesn't seem to bother him. If you're concerned it might be serious talk to your veterinarian.

If you like someone that has lost a lot of weight an has a lot of loose skin should you ignore it?

as a gilfriend

If you like someone that has lost a lot of weight an has a lot of loose skin should you ignore it?
How. exactly, are you going to bring this very delicate personal appearance issue to their attention in a way that is not hurtful? and what on earth makes you think they are not already aware of it? Presumably, they own a mirror. Keep your mouth shut unless asked for an opinion.
Reply:Certainly. If you like him/her, why should anything else matter?
Reply:Depending on how old you are if you between the age of 14 to 25 it should not matter to you if you do got feelings for this person, but peer pressure can be a problem. There are always going to be females and males trying to break you two up. It can be because of jealousy, because they hate people in that condition or because your friends are embarrass of you when they see you or other people see you with the that person. People can be cruel. So it's going to be hard if that person don't feel confident about them self. Ya have to build a strong relationship and it going to take time. Don't get me wrong every relationship have to deal with jealousy and people that don't want to see you happy, mostly of the time are your so call friends. Remember life will only give you a couple of chances to have love and be love after that its not guarantied. If you older then 25 the same rules apply but, It should be a litter easy because you should be wiser and you shouldn't care what people said, when it comes to being intimate no body else its there with you. So if it didn't bother you the first time ignore it. If it did bother you stop the relationship before somebody get hurt! 60% of the people die alone because of what they believe and choose! Do you choose and believe its's going to make you happy or not? Good luck!!!

I have lost 50 lbs so far, with 50 more to go. I know about loose skin, but can I tone up anyway? How?

I have lovley "Bat Flaps" that I would like to eliminate as much as possible. I know they will never go completely away, but maybe something can help?!

I have lost 50 lbs so far, with 50 more to go. I know about loose skin, but can I tone up anyway? How?
lots of pilates and yoga. pilates will tone every single muscle in your body, especially your "core". it'll take a lot of work but it's worth the confident you feel afterwards. my question is how did you lose 50lbs?!
Reply:congrats on your weight loss, girl!

start lifting weights. That, and drinking tons of water will help tone up the flappity-flaps and your skin will shrink normally.
Reply:CLEANSING...IT HELPED ME TO DO THAT.......My family and I have been using the best cleansing technology...:)the first time I did it, I lost 13 pounds in 9 days:).... check out this site

Reply:What have you been doing to lose 50 pounds?? I would really like to know.

I am not sure what Bat Flaps are but I think if you exercise to tone up and drink plenty of water, that is going to be your best bet for the loose skin.
Reply:your weight loss is wonderful!!!!the skin is slower to shrink, but will catch up.they can surgically remove also.what did you do to lose the weight? i just started HMR products.its a liquid diet.
Reply:There's a supplement sold in any "good health food store" It's a combination of arginine, ornithine, and lysine. These are 3 amino acids used to lose weight and gain muscle tone. It will help with the "bat flaps" Do your own research on these three amino acids and you'll see for yourself.

I recently lost about 75 lbs. with diet and exercise. How can i reduce the loose skin?

first of all, congratulations on the loss.

second, i'd like to say that filling up the loose skin with muscle is highly improbable. go to a butcher and look at 75 pounds of lean meat, does that look like a realistic addition?

Although weight training is a good idea, most of the excess skin will need to be removed via surgery.

"Weight training. For variety do different numbers of reps at different weights for each set. Following your workout with a soy-whey protein shake should help you lose weight and build muscle." -some poor misguided soul who answered before me (sunnybear or something)

and for the sake of not wasting time, if you are going to weight train (which you probably already are), don't follow the above advice [Super Squats by Randall J Strossen is a great place to start if you are serious about weighttraining and don't mind getting into a power rack to lift a barbell that signifigantly outweighs you] , and soy is known to increase estrogen levels, antagonist of testosterone (what you want).

goodluck.

Surgery is the only way to fix that.
Reply:Unfortunately surgery is the only answer
Reply:Sorry, only surgery can fix the loose skin.

Did you loose the weight too fast?

x
Reply:It depends how much loose skin you have. If its just a little it may reduce itself with time. Weight training may help you tone up the areas to reduce the look of it as well. If its a lot then the only way to get rid of it is to have plastic surgery to remove it. It also depends on your age because the older you get the less elastic your skin is so if you are older and especially if you have spent the majority of your life over weight then you might be out of luck no matter what your case.

My cousin lets his St. Bernard carry his newborn in his mouth from the loose skin on the back of his neck..?

I don't think it's a good idea, but he says it's perfectly safe. What should I do?

My cousin lets his St. Bernard carry his newborn in his mouth from the loose skin on the back of his neck..?
Oh my god you have to be kidding right??? How can anyone let their child be carried around like that. This is an infant not a puppy come on! I don't care if it is my cousin, sister, best friend or next door neighbor I would tell them that if they don't correct the issue I am calling child protective services. I mean how would you feel being carried around in a dog's mouth??
Reply:lol really? thats no good
Reply:Maybe if you specified if the dog is carrying a newborn PUPPY or a newborn BABY, some people might understand where you are coming from.

If it's a puppy, it's normal. If it's a newborn baby, obviously someone needs to have their parenting skills evaluated by a health professional.

I'm hoping that this isn't a goof off question to get people upset.
Reply:Well, goodness. Couldn't you come up with a better one?

You talkin' about a puppy or a human?
Reply:Perfectly safe to me Afterall we Wolves have been doing that for centuries.
Reply:start calling him "manimal"
Reply:That is the way most animals carry their young.
Reply:Yes, the St. Bernard's newborn can be carried like that without injury.

Trolls, on the other hand, would just as soon eat their young.
Reply:Holy Jeez....wow...so many things wrong.....head spinning...please tell me this is a puppy you are talking about and not a HUMAN newborn?

Puppy = Safe

Human= SOOOOOOO NOT SAFE!!!!

Does he realize how delicate a baby's neck is? Support the head....ring a bell? Not to mention....Oh man....NOT SAFE

Wow...that is just so wrong...on so many levels...I gotta go...I need to wash my brain with bleach now....

P.S. "Manimal"...that's awesome...lol
Reply:You must be talking about a newborn puppy as there is no "loose" skin on a human baby, if this is the case, it's normal, thats how mother dogs care for their pup.

If it is a human baby, call social services, fast!
Reply:I have no evidence that this is harmful to the baby, but I can only assume it is a horrible horrible idea. I would definitely approach him about it and if he still lets it go on I would call child protective services. Remember that babies have a soft spot on their heads that must be protected at all times. And also...whose to say the dog doesn't get distracted and drop the baby or even worse, bite down on it for some reason. This is something that needs to be taken care of immediately, I am feeling sick just thinking about it.
Reply:Great, now I cant get this picture out of my head of a baby with all this loose skin on the back of his neck!!!
Reply:You're bored aren't you? Stop asking silly questions.
Reply:You must be talking puppy because babies don't have loose skin on the back of the neck
Reply:just for my info do you have a life out side of your pc ?

I've had 3 c-sections is it possible to get rid of the loose skin?

I had to have all 3 of my children c-section where they opened me up from the naval down (so much for a bikini cut) last child was 7 years ago, 10 days ago I had back surgery doctor went through old c-section scar. Is it possible to exercise and have this tighten back up? Or do I have to go the tummy tuck route?

I've had 3 c-sections is it possible to get rid of the loose skin?
Once you have a c-section you are left with loose skin. It sad to say this but the skin stays loose until you get a tummy tuck. No exercise in the world will make your tummy back to normal. It's a sacrifice a mom makes for their children. I wish you all the luck in the world, if you are unhappy you should get your tummy tuck you deserve it. Having children and raising them is a lot of responsibility but remember you also have to fill good about yourself as a woman..
Reply:Exercise may help the elasticity in your skin but I don't know if it would help you look the way you want. Maybe you should try exercise and then if that doesn't give you the results that you want you could check into the tummy tuck.
Reply:In the same boat, tummy tuck is the only option for the loose skin.

Is it possible to get a six pack after u get surgery to remove loose skin and u are 19?

I would say yes - I used to be ripped when I was young and then I gained weight when I hurt my back then I lost it all and now I'm about 20 pounds heavier than I was when I was 18 (I'm 37 now) - I have a "4 pack" with a little chub at the bottom - I would have to lose about 25 pounds to get back to shredded but it can be done

Is it possible to get a six pack after u get surgery to remove loose skin and u are 19?
i would say yes if you work out really hard for about 3-4 hours every day for about 6 months.
Reply:*sigh why do people always try and take the most easy AND expencive way out yeas you can but why would you its like cheatiung your body

just dedicate and work hard OR

would you rather take a risk at malpractice , not being abl;e to eat WHAT you want for a couple of weeks iuntill your body completely heal dude

you ****!n 19 grow some hair on your balls and do it right
Reply:It should be so long as you have given yourself enough recovery time from the surgery before undertaking exercise. To be sure of this seek medical clearance from your doctor.

To acheive a six pack you need an overall reduction in bodyfat. You have abs there they are just hiding under fat.

To lose this fat you need a combo of cardio exercise to burn calories and strength training to increase muscle mass thereby improving your metabolism so that you can burn calories at a higher rate even when your body is at rest.

Ofcourse what you eat will also play a part in your success. Reduce your intake of sodas, junk food, processed foods and take away and increase your intake of veg, fruit and water. Try to make sure every meal includes protein fats and carbs. The less refined the carbs the better.

Note to Quickquestion: Who are you to judge? This person has already worked to lose weight and excess skin is a very real and serious side effect of weightloss. As someone with two children I can completely understand how the skin can stretch with excessive weight gain. No exercise will get rid of the stretched skin.
Reply:It is very sad that you have such problems at this young age.Just eat normal diet, exercise ,eat light meal before sleeping at night, you will feel much better.
Reply:It will not give you a 6-pack. They can suck out the fat or correct the flabby skin and make your tummy flat. They can try to define your stomach somewhat but you will not come out with a great 6-pack. That is something you will have to work on to get. Surgeons can't build your muscle.
Reply:Of course if your doctor agrees.

5 Step to get six-pack!!! 4-8 weeks.

First thing to do:

1. Run 2.4 or 4.8 everday = It help to burn off you fat!!

2. Swimming 1 hours per day = It can help you burn off your fat and also can help you get muscles on your arm!!

3. Do sit-up 500 per day if you cannot do so many then do about 250 per day..!! Do rest when you do 100 times... rest for 5 minutes...!!! If you feel your stomach pain that it OK because it help you get the abs = six pack... do sit-up help you get your sit-up more faster!!! ( If you are overweight you should do less ).

4. Push-up help you to burn off your arm fat and at the same time it help you to get muscles.!

5. The last one is important!!! You must drink a lot of water and eat more healthy food like apple. You cannot eat oily food like chicken wings, Curry chicken and more.. if you eat you won't get six-pack one.. let take a example. You swim for 1 hours it burn your body fat about 200? But if you eat chicken you will get nothing but it will add your fat... Chicken = 500 Fat but you burn 200 so 500-200=300, you will get 300 more fat go into your body. So you cannot get six-pack soon must wait for longer!!! If you want to get six-pack faster do the five step that i have tell you... In 4 to 8 Week you sure will get six-pack.

Reply:It is a shame you got surgery, there are ways to do it without the pain involved.

To help with the loose skin, go to www.wraps2riches.com

Get the Ultimate Body applicator and Defining gel. It can help with the loose skin.

You'll still have to work out to get six pack, but the products will help.
Reply:I expect so - collagen is still evident in your skin - it'll reshape itself - make sure you are good to your skin though - avoid too much sun until you have got the 6 you desire!!!! Then show it right off
Reply:yes it is possible. congrats on your hard work!
Reply:yea sure you should able
Reply:Yes. But listen to the doctor and only workout when he/she says its ok to do so. You got the skin taken off not the muscle. Your also young and your skin has great elasticity evenn with the skin they took off. You should get in shape fast if you work at it. Good luck!
Reply:But hey you did great to lose the weight

If a person is 14 stone and loses 4 stone...will they have excess loose skin?

Yes, they will temporarily have loose skin where the largest amount of weight was lost. But the skin being very pliable, will soon adjust to this new configuration and contour itself perfectly to these new dimensions. No Sweat!

If a person is 14 stone and loses 4 stone...will they have excess loose skin?
If you were to lose the weight rapidly there is an increased chance of being left with excess skin.

This is,, partly why we are told that after the 1st week or two on a diet, we should only lose 1-2lb per week.

I just had a baby 3 months ago. Will that big "pouch" of really loose skin ever go away?

Has any one been through this, and can you offer what proper exercising to tone that. I gained about 70 pounds when I was pregnant because I was on IV most of the pregnancy.

I just had a baby 3 months ago. Will that big "pouch" of really loose skin ever go away?
You will have to wait and see.....try doing crunches or other ab excercises to get the muscle under your skin tightened back up. Only after you do this will you be able to determine if the skin will tighten along with the muscle. I myself gained about 80 pounds per pregnancy (I have had 3) thus my skin has been stretched to the limits and is quite baggy now that I am 134 pounds. I am one of those lucky individuals whose only hope for a flat stomach is a tummy tuck to get rid of that extra stretched skin........Good luck!
Reply:It is possible to go away, if you exercise really hard or have a opperation to get the extra skin off.
Reply:I don't think it ever goes away totally unless you are Brittaney Spears. Try Pilate's.
Reply:It depends on your age and if you already had that big "pouch" already.. If your not overweight you can get rid of it..Lots of work..Mainly exercise, {walking, running), and sit ups. If you don't like sit ups, you can always do leg lifts..Lay on your back and lift your fit off the ground, hold it and put them down. The lower the legs are to the ground the more effective. When doing this..suck your belly button in towards your spine~~ Good luck~

My wife recently lost weight, and any info on how to lose that "loose" skin around the abdomen area?

sometimes excercise will work but if not then surgery but leave that as the last option!- I have that pooch from having babies etc and the xtra skin etc- Once u are at the ideal weight then decide - it may tighten up as that happens! Good luck and Merry Christmas! You are beautiful as you think and more so than you know!

You dont. Plastic surgery is the only way.

Whats the deal here? What must i do to get rid of this loose skin? anyone in the medical field plz answer?

ok I used to be pretty big for my height but that was last year I am 5'10 and now weigh 157 pounds and workout all the time, but last year I when I first started I weighed 225, granted im only 21 years old, so everyone tellls me Im young enough where with excercise and such it should go away, however all the crunches and abdominal work i do just makes my stomach muscles increas and hard as a rock however you cant see my abs unless I tense up and only then you just see the lineings of them...anyone know if im just paranoida and eventualy this will workout, cause im too poor to pay for a tummy tuck and by the time I get a full toned 6 pack its gona look like a giant boulder bulging outa my stomach...any suggestions or anyone in the medical field know what I should do??

I've heard the extra skin is impossible to get rid of without surgery, because it's been stretched out.

My tongue is white a feels dry and furry, it has pieces of loose skin at the back and red spots what is wrong?

you should get a look from doctor, do you feel run down generally? You could be defficient in certain vitamins, vitamin B is a usual one, or it could be something more acute like oral thrush, either way i would recommend seeing your gp.

My wife has recently lost weight around her abdomen region and now has "loose skin" there. What are some
i don't really think there are any good, effective home-solutions for this. if there was why would people be shelling out thousands for tummy tucks?

Which is less repulsive? A 300lb woman or a normal weight woman with loose skin because of weight loss?

The thinner woman with loose skin. I don't think anyone really cares about loose skin, but the extra weight is a serious detriment to that person's health

Which is less repulsive? A 300lb woman or a normal weight woman with loose skin because of weight loss?
Repulsive is not the best word choice I think.

Loose skin is not very attractive at all. If she carries the 300 pounds well bring it on.
Reply:I think you are repulsive to ask such a question. I am a normal weight woman....now. I have lost a lot of weight, and I have loose skin in some places but there is nothing I can do unless I get surgery and I cant afford it! I was ALWAYS over weight and I love myself now! I really really don't like your question.
Reply:None is "repulsive"

Human beings cannot be repulsive.

I would say : "which is more elegant " ...

Both cases are aspects of our human nature and deserve respect and care, even with the words we use to describe it.
Reply:The normal; woman, because she went through a lot to get thinner. If she wants she can get that extra skin removed.

It will shrink some in time anyway.
Reply:I'd say the thinner woman with loose skin.

She simply needs to work on exercising to get the skin to tighten up.

Also, if she can't afford surgery, one of the talk shows might help her by paying for surgery if she went on their show.
Reply:Less repulsive is the 300lb woman I think. At least her skin fits!!
