Loose skin at 19?????

Will it go away or am I stuck with it foreveR?


I'm 5'9 and 130 lbs and I do cardio and weight lift 5x a week

Loose skin at 19?????
It only gets worse.
Reply:stop with the cardio, do some weight gain, and watch those loose skin go away and be replaced with stretch marks!

Reply:It will probably go away. If you were 45 or so It might not, but at 19 you have very elastic skin.
Reply:Maybe go on a diet.

Or maybe you lost a huge amount of weight?

Your skin is way to stretched out to recover by itselfe.

Reply:Sadly it may never go away, same with stretch marks. I used to weigh 200lbs. When I dieted and excericsed I went down to 120. However the stretch marks never went away. I thankfully never got the loose skin. However I know plenty of people who suffer from this condition after the irth of a child, and surgery at times is the 'only' outlet. No matter how skinny you get or muscular. I wish you luck though. It is not a dangerous procedure though, its simply the removal and tighening of skin .... however there may be other alternatives, from what I ahve learned though is that surgery is usually how you get rid of loose skin. It sucks, I know. ;(

if so, then it takes awhile for your skin to adjust to the new size. don't worry.





if you have always been like this or if you just started getting it, then you may just have problems with the elasticity in your skin.





this is what you skin has to keep it from flopping. Pull your skin (maybe on your hand) and see how fast it goes back in shape.





with elasticity, it does it fast. if your elasticity is not at its best it takes awhile for the skin to actually go back in place
Reply:well when you were losing the weight did you exercise as well because that could be the reason why you have the loose skin know.
