What is the best way to tighten loose skin after weight loss?

After I had a baby I lost 60 pounds in 6 months, but now I have excess skin. A tummy tuck is out, what can I do. It's been 2 years and it's not getting better......

What is the best way to tighten loose skin after weight loss?
Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.

Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry. It is however to be noted that one cannot change the shape or size of different parts of the body.
Reply:Regain the weight =]
Reply:If you cant afford or dont want a tummy tuck, there are cremes to tighten and firm skin. I dont know if they work on extreme loose skin but wrinkles and stuff like that.
Reply:Have you tried lifting weights? It will eventually give you rock hard abs to fill out that excess skin. Also, muscle helps to burn fat.
Reply:I've read that when you lose weight, you lose the fat inside the fat cells but the fat cells themselves remain. But there's a theory that when you create a scarcity of something, that thing will be held onto more and more eg . when you're broke you tend to not be as willing to spend as much. Based on this, if ,to lose weight, you've been eating low fat foods, you may have starved your body of fats, which are actually needed by the body, and your body may be holding onto the fats cells and not wanting to let them go. So it might be a good idea to put 1 or 2 tablespoons of good oils into your diet everyday. Go to a health food shop and get a couple of different healthy oils like almond oil, rice bran oil, safflower oil, peanut oil, etc. Mix them together and consume them uncooked, like over a salad. This way you'll be getting good oils in your system, not creating a scarcity and your body might be more willing to let some of those fat cells go and things might tighten up. I know it sounds a little contrary to popular opinion - eating fat to lose weight - but think about giving it a go. And let me know how you go.
