After any weight loss, the body has to have time to recover. Over the next year, his body will adjust and the skin will tighten on it's own. There is nothing to "fix".

Like I said before, I don't believe in putting pudgy kids on diets until they are done growing. But I have no problem exercising them thoroughly. Join a gym. Start him working out. His weight won't go down, but his shape will look a whole lot better.

Reply:Go see a dermatologist about the stretch marks. The Dr. might be able to prescribe something to help them fade better. My husband has some stretch marks on his hips, but it is because he grew tall so fast. I think a lot of guys get them on there hip area. The flabby skin should shrink up within a year or two and he is only 13 so his skin should heal much faster than someone who is a little older. Just make sure he is at a healthy weight and fix the other problems later. Be supportive.

The larger you are, the more skin you'll have obviously, but but the good news is that you are quite young (18?) so your skin should have very good elasticity and respond well to stretch- so losing weight now may be the best time. The older you get, the less likely your skin will snap back nicely...
And also, lucky you're a dude, cause you'll likely replace some fat with muscle, which also takes up some space and therefore uses some of that skin...
If you keep running/swimming, and lose fat at a healthy speed (2lbs/week) it'll be best for your entire body. In general, fat is burnt evenly throughout the body, so progress isn't always obvious- your man-boobs will shrink at the same rate as your belly fat.
Plastic surgeons can help remove excess skin if it is causing health issues (like infections or low back) then your health insurance may cover the cost of the surgery. I think the requirements are: lost %26gt;100lbs, weight stable, and causing health issue? But the tummy tucks I have helped with were usually for gastric bypass patients who were very very large, and lost 100-200 lbs in about a year. Likely surgery is not necessary for you, but I just wanted to mention it, so you know there are many options- don't worry! Just keep up the weight loss and worry about skin later.

The Chicken I bought in supermarket in Australia taste awful. Because the chicken are raised industrially in mass production, their skins very loose, soft. I feel nothing.

2. Your still growing so some of that skin is going to be used by as you grow.
I would not be concerned about it. If you were 45 then I'd say sorry, your stuck with it, but at 15 it will be just fine.
Congrats on your 50 pound loss---that's terrific and you should be very proud. If you get a chance watch Shaq's Kids on TV. He has a kids going through a weight loss regiment and it may interest you.

I weigh 17 stone but if i lose a stone a month will i be stuck with loose skin?
"Loose skin" is a myth. When you lose weight, you lose not only fat but muscle. Consequently, fat fills where that muscle was and should be and gives the illusion you have "loose skin." But there's hope. Exercise with weight loss can help you retain your muscle. And, if you find yourself with "loose skin" try to put on muscle and lose even more weight.

Try joining a weight loss scheme...read up on "good" and "bad" foods..Being educated about the foods you eat, eating routines and food fat content etc is always a good start. Replacing full fat dairy products such as cheese and milk for half etc does help too.

I've had 3 c-sections is it possible to get rid of the loose skin?
I had to have all 3 of my children c-section where they opened me up from the naval down (so much for a bikini cut) last child was 7 years ago, 10 days ago I had back surgery doctor went through old c-section scar. I would say yes - I used to be ripped when I was young and then I gained weight when I hurt my back then I lost it all and now I'm about 20 pounds heavier than I was when I was 18 (I'm 37 now) - I have a "4 pack" with a little chub at the bottom - I would have to lose about 25 pounds to get back to shredded but it can be done

To lose this fat you need a combo of cardio exercise to burn calories and strength training to increase muscle mass thereby improving your metabolism so that you can burn calories at a higher rate even when your body is at rest.

I just had a baby 3 months ago. Will that big "pouch" of really loose skin ever go away?

Only after you do this will you be able to determine if the skin will tighten along with the muscle. I myself gained about 80 pounds per pregnancy (I have had 3) thus my skin has been stretched to the limits and is quite baggy now that I am 134 pounds. I am one of those lucky individuals whose only hope for a flat stomach is a tummy tuck to get rid of that extra stretched skin........Good luck!

sometimes excercise will work but if not then surgery but leave that as the last option!- I have that pooch from having babies etc and the xtra skin etc- Once u are at the ideal weight then decide - it may tighten up as that happens! ok I used to be pretty big for my height but that was last year I am 5'10 and now weigh 157 pounds and workout all the time, but last year I when I first started I weighed 225, granted im only 21 years old, so everyone tellls me Im young enough where with excercise and such it should go away, however all the crunches and abdominal work i do just makes my stomach muscles increas and hard as a rock however you cant see my abs unless I tense up and only then you just see the lineings of them...anyone know if im just paranoida and eventualy this will workout, cause im too poor to pay for a tummy tuck and by the time I get a full toned 6 pack its gona look like a giant boulder bulging outa my stomach...any suggestions or anyone in the medical field know what I should do??

My tongue is white a feels dry and furry, it has pieces of loose skin at the back and red spots what is wrong?
you should get a look from doctor, do you feel run down generally? You could be defficient in certain vitamins, vitamin B is a usual one, or it could be something more acute like oral thrush, either way i would recommend seeing your gp.
