What exercises can I do to help tone loose skin?
I have loose skin from having two children and a plastic surgeon said unfortunately the only way to get rid of loose skin is through surgery.once the skin detaches from the muscle the only way is to get surgery to remove the skin..that really bummed me out! I excersiced seven days a week three hours a day.. i lost 50 lbs and 48 inches.i went from a size 14 to a size 5...huge improvement i know but the skin is still hanging there and i hate it... no matter how many sit ups i did it just strenghtened the muscle tone but the skin still hung there... sorry for thr grim news but its the truth.. firming lotion helped me a little just as the collagen in the lotion filled in the crevices to appear tighter...
Reply:SKIN? You need to get a good cream or lotion to tone skin, exercise works muscles, not skin.

Now, if you meant loose muscles, then try the basics of push-ups, arm curls, tricep extensions, bench press, crunches in the various forms (with weight resistance), squats, lunges, and stretching.
Reply:I know a friend that used small weights in the 3-5 lb. range. She lost weight quickly and she used the weights to tone her bodies skin. It helped her arms and abdomen... also walking is good..You don't have to run or strain yourself hard to tone up..
Reply:I would sugest TTapp. It tones all you muscles and helps you lose weight slowly so you dont get too much lose skin. Also go to their forums and look up skin brushing and maybe order that if you can afford it. It helps. If you want to try samples of the workouts here is the link it cost nothing to try.

www.ttapp.com/try.

you can ask all the questions yu want on the fourm and a ttapp trainer will answer fairly quick
Reply:Cosmetic surgery is the only thing that will take away lose skin. You can tone muscle, not skin.
