Can you lose 50 lbs in 6months without having a lot of loose skin?

yes, my neighbor lost a lot in about that time. Of course, I'm not going to ask her, but I'm certain it is at least that much. I see no loose skin.

Can you lose 50 lbs in 6months without having a lot of loose skin?
Yea, my brother in law lost 50 pounds once, he dropped his wallet.
Reply:Duh, yes just freaking exercise
Reply:It depends on your age...
Reply:i doubt it, exercise a lot while you are losing, eat balanced meals, good luck.
Reply:stick your finger way back in your throat and... never mind
Reply:If you mean 50 lbs of body fat lost in that short of a time you will have loose skin and flabby muscles. Make sure to exercise while dieting and don't loose that fast. It will NOT stay off. You need to train your body and mind to keep a healthy lower calorie diet for it to stay off.
Reply:Cut your butt off?

Sorry, that was rude.

I'm afraid I don't know the answer.
Reply:I would say depends on your body type and the distribition of your fat.

A male who is 6'6 300 and gets down to 6'6 250 may not have alot of loose skin.

On the other hand a female who is 5'5 200 and goes down to 5'5 150 probably would have quite a bit on the back of the arms and around the waist.
Reply:Yes. If you lose it over that period of time and use oil or lotion, your skin should shrink slightly.
Reply:I think you would be alright. The healthy amount to lose by exercising and dieting is 2 lbs. a week. So for 6 months you could lose up to 52 lbs. Just do it slow and easy. That way you are giving your skin some time to react.
Reply:I lost 30 lbs. in four weeks and did not have any loose skin. So, I would have to say it is possible to lose 50 lbs. in 6 months without having a a lot of loose skin.

I weighed 130 lbs when I began graduate school in 1971. I ate once a day (a McDonald's Cheeseburger and french fries), and drank six to eight glasses of unsweetened tea. I attended classes six hours a day, walked at least five hours a day, studied five to six hours a day, and slept six to seven hours. Within four weeks, I had lost 30 pounds, and was wearing a size one. I could even shop in childrlen's clothing, size l4!

Would I recommend this regimen for everyone? No. Did I feel good about myself? Yes. Can I motivate myself to wear a size l again? I hope so.
