How can a 16 yr old female prevent loose skin/flabbiness when losing 37-40 pounds?

if she is not extremely fat/obese just chunky/chubby?

How can a 16 yr old female prevent loose skin/flabbiness when losing 37-40 pounds?
exercise, particularly cardio help that kind of problem.
Reply:Loose weight slowly, not more than2 lbs. a week.
Reply:do it slowly...and try lifting weights...only light weights for females to make sure that you will have long muscles instead of round ones to replace the fat.
