stretch marks never go away. you can lighten them though using coco butter lotion for stretch marks. and for the loose skin he needs to do regular workouts.
Reply:the flabbiness will never go away unless with surgery, but they have creams for the stretch marks.

Reply:you should probably take him to the doctor
Reply:work out,
Reply:He needs to exercise and do weights, as well as diet, to keep the skin tight as well as loose the fat. That will reduce the flabby skin. For stretch marks, there are certain creams that help but you can go to the dermatologist and they can do laser surgery to remove the marks. Hope this helps.
Reply:Go see a dermatologist about the stretch marks. The Dr. might be able to prescribe something to help them fade better. My husband has some stretch marks on his hips, but it is because he grew tall so fast. I think a lot of guys get them on there hip area. The flabby skin should shrink up within a year or two and he is only 13 so his skin should heal much faster than someone who is a little older. Just make sure he is at a healthy weight and fix the other problems later. Be supportive.
Reply:At 13 years old, the skin will naturally tighten up. Your son still has at least 5 years of growth left, so chill.
Reply:He nees to lose the weight slowly and then his skin will gradually shrink with his weight loss, and exercise along with his weight loss to stop the baggy skin
Reply:Just help him be confidant thru this akward time in life. His skin should still have a lot of elasticity, and he will be growing taller as well, and that skin will stretch with him as he grows.
Reply:He is, IMHO, young enough to be able to catch it up. If you feel you need reassurance, or if it isn't clearing up by itself, go to a reputable dermatologist - do not listen to the unqualified, as many a health problem could have been avoided if people would stop believing what they say in the magazines, etc, and consult a doctor!
Reply:Surgery is really all that could truly fix it. You could have him step his his moisturizing and it will reduce it somewhat.

Also, if he's still growing the change in size might take care of the loose skin.
Reply:stetch marks will fade as time goes on and dumbells are a good option for loose skin / weight around your arms.... he should exercise as he looses weight to prevent extra skin.
Reply:When I lost weight postpartum, I had a lot of baggy skin. This product called tummy firmer helped reduce the sag, when I put a scale underneath it used to hang 6 inches down, now its like 1-2 inches- about 3 weeks into using it.

We go there for a different health product and this one was new- uses orchid extract and at www.katuri.com

hmm, lightened stretch marks to a little extent-
Reply:Your son is about to hit his major growing period. I would do nothing at all about these problems until he's done growing. I have a feeling he will grow into his skin. He can start working his biceps, too, and that will help fill out his arms with hard flesh instead of flabby skin.

Have him eat heathily, as much as he wants, just avoid empty calories. He doesn't need to diet just now, because his body needs his calories to grow properly.

If, at 19 or so, he still has hanging skin, contact a hospital with a burn unit. They always need donor skin to help their patients cover burned areas.
