There really isn't a one size fits all type of answer. (Excuse the pun). If you are young, it will tighten up as you continue to exercise, providing you are adding muscle mass and not burning it. If you are on a strict diet and exercising like crazy, you're burning it. Provide your body with the nutrients it needs to bulk up the muscles.
Skin elasticity can also be affected by nutrition, the amount of melanin, skin thickness and of course age. Don't run to the surgeon. Save the money and try to do it naturally first. You'll not only end up saving some major bucks but end up with a healthier body.
What's the best way to tighten up loose skin after losing fat ?
It depends on how much loose skin. My best friend just had the gastric bypass surgery and she is going to have to have another surgery just to remove the extra skin.
Reply:Tummy Tuck
Reply:Depends on how much there is. If there's just a little bit, then continue working out/weight training. If there's a ton of it...then you'll have to get it chopped off. :o)
Reply:unfortunately sometimes the only way to get rid of sagging skin is to have it surgically removed
Reply:Build some muscle mass. Do strength training with weights. You might want to pick up some creatine to expedite the process.
Reply:sorry but you have to tone up with exercise like sit ups
Reply:Use a message vibrator at least twice a day.
The real secret is to wet the skin with FRESH Aloe Vera right off the broken leaf from the Aloe plant. Do the Aloe treatment at least 5 times per day!
Reply:I lost 250 lbs. and afterwards looked like a Shar Pei dog with all of those folds of skin hanging from me. I had the doctor snip off the loose parts of skin that dangled and had them made into lampshades for my table lamps... Makes for a real conversation piece when I have visitors over.
