Whats best to use after pregnancy for stretch marks and loose skin?Palmers cocoa butter or firming lotion?

I heard you would get stretch marks if your mom had them but she doesnt only my sister and her stomach looks gross. I really want to know how to prevent the stretchmarks and the loose skin, im using palmers cocoa butter twice a day and also vanilla bean lotion i got at Motherhood Maternity store(the bottle says its almost 100% efective in preventing stretch marks).

Reply:Any cream or lotion with vitamin A is good to prevent the stretches marks. Probably that firming lotion you bought has it, it's common used in lotions and creams for pregnant woman.

Reply:there is a wonderful thing out just for that it works on scars too, but i just cant remember the name of it ask your gp it rejuvenates your skin helps it remeber what it looked like and reverts to that over time it works wonders on stretch marks but only on the less severe scars ie if you had a ceasearean it will not get rid of a scar like that, im sorry i cant remember the name of it it but im jus letting you know that something does exist

Reply:nothing will get rid of them...mine are really bad but i used palmers cocoa butter before i even started getting stretch marks. they still got really bad so in a last attempt i got vitamin e oil. the stretch marks actually lightened a little. try vitamin e, and use it religiously.
